Giant Pumpkins
The Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival had, of course, pumpkin everything. I even tried pumpkin macaroni and cheese.
The pumpkin sculptures, costumes and street performers were probably the best part of the event... besides seeing the winning 1,500 lb pumpkin. Todd even found a giant gourd from his home state of Washington. That would have been a long road trip.

You know, it's no wonder that my husband and sister-in-law's favorite holiday was Halloween since they grew up in HMB. With the pumpkin festival, it's almost a bigger holiday than Christmas there!
